You’ll be responsible for identifying high-value prospects, managing the full sales cycle, and promoting a solution that helps construction companies make smarter, data-driven decisions. This is a commission-based role, so candidates must be comfortable working in a performance-driven compensation structure.

• A top-performing sales professional with a documented history of exceeding quotas
• Experienced in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in construction tech, analytics, or related industries
• Excellent communicator and skilled at building rapport and closing deals
• Comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure
  Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Must reside in Texas – applications from other states will not be considered

TopBuilder is a leading provider of software and consulting services for the construction and home builder industries. We are an established 17-year-old company based in Houston, Texas.

As a Senior Developer for TopBuilder, you will lead, manage, and participate in the development of new products, enhancements to existing products and product support using the full .net software stack. You will also interact with clients on all their development needs.

You will report to the company president.

Your responsibility as a senior developer and product specialist is the following:

1. Develop new products and enhance existing products using the .net software stack
2. Support current products and customers via video meetings and emails
3. Manage the development and support of new and current products
4. Develop, enforce, and manage development methodologies and standards
5. Manage other developers and support engineers (full time and contract)
6. Assist in the selection and management of development and production architectures, development tools and development processes
7. Develop and manage project plans with realistic due dates
8. Conduct status meetings, code review, Q&A testing, release notes and go to market plans
9. Participate in product demos and customer Q&A sessions as needed

This position requires a professional with strong project management, coding, asp.net and SQL experience. You must have experience managing developers and support teams and have working experience in development methodologies, standards and SaaS based architectures. You must be able to interact with other developers, customers, and other members of the TopBuilder team. Most importantly, you must be trusted with customer data, TopBuilder intellectual property (or code) and critical application programs. Experience supporting sales teams and conducting product demos is a bonus.
