Job Summary

TopBuilder is looking for an amazing, driven, creative and experienced Account Manager who will help us manage and retain existing and new customers.

This position is responsible for consulting and account management of our industry leading construction, home builder and real-estate CRM solution. This is a customer service position requiring experience and expertise in software consulting, implementations, and best practices. Knowledge of CRM and construction is important to be successful in this role. Compensation will be base salary plus commission.

Job Responsibilities

  • As the TopBuilder Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for the success of our customers after the sale.
  • You will provide consulting services, training, best practices and support.
  • You will be responsible for understanding and documenting customer expectations and benefits identified during the sales process
  • Work with new and existing customers to ensure benefits and expectations are a key component of the software implementation and training.
  • Review customer activity to ensure customer is properly utilizing TopBuilder to achieve stated benefits. Conduct regular customer reviews.
  • Establish a detailed understanding of the TopBuilder products and services, associated benefits, and value provided to customers.
  • Maintain a detailed implementation and account review schedule.
  • You will be accountable for meeting customer retention goals and performance metrics.

Software Account Executive:

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience with a proven track record in software account management, consulting, and customer service.
  • Experience with CRM is helpful but not required
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful but not required.
  • Problem solver and creative thinker, who can communicate professionally.

Personal Characteristics

  • This is a customer facing and consulting role so personal and communication skills are important
  • Organization will be important to manage hundreds of customers and will require proper planning, organization and follow-up
  • Documentation, presentation and speaking skills are required
