    A New TopBuilder

    At the beginning of 2020, Dave Knowles, Owner & Founder of TopBuilder, decided to reinvent TopBuilder. 

    TopBuilder was already providing CRM services to Home Builders, Construction Companies, and Real Estate Professionals, but he wanted it to be more. He wanted TopBuilder to be a new class of software. Software that could not only help you with your sales, but your marketing and your preconstruction tasks as well. 

    The result was a year dedicated to making TopBuilder better in every single way. 

    It was a difficult journey. Many unexpected events impacted businesses everywhere and the construction industry was not exempt. Despite these unexpected events, we held true to our vision. We were focused and dedicated to provide more value to you. Below you’ll find a few highlights that show our journey in 2020.

    New TopBuilder Brand
    We began our journey by redesigning our company logo, color palette, and font selection. This new logo became our new symbol for progress.

    February, 2020
    New Website
    Along with the new brand image, we decided to simplify our website. The new website focused on making it easy to view all of our services.

    April, 2020
    TopBuilder 2.0
    We then spent the next few months rebuilding the TopBuilder CRM. TopBuilder 2.0 focused on updating our brand image and the user interface. Additionally, this update included a new customizable dashboard, to help you see the information that is most important to you.

    Quote Assemblies & Pricing
    After we launched TopBuilder 2.0, we immediately began working on new features. One of the first additions was expanding the capabilities of our new Quoting Software. This included new Quoting Assemblies that made it easy to to build price agreements from pre-built templates.

    New Reports | Lead Lifecycle & Aging Report
    We built the new Lead Lifecycle & Aging Report to help any team member understand the effectiveness of the business development program's processes, procedures, and personnel. In other words, the report shows you where all of your leads are in the pipeline.

    Bid Calendar
    Next, we updated our Bid Calendar to help you properly assign each bid before it's too late. In other words, you could easily track bid statuses, seeing who is working on each bid, and see when each bid is due.

    AWS Migration
    We decided to migrate to new AWS servers. This migration resulted in new performance upgrades for TopBuilder and all of our software. This led to considerable upgrades in speed of our software and how quickly it can process your requests.

    New Job Board
    With the new Job Board you can easily assign estimators, project managers, and crews to any of your projects. This makes construction scheduling even easier for you and your team.

    New Integrations
    By October, we had successfully integrated with Procore, Acumatica, and Sales Rabbit. These were huge additions to our list of partners and integrations. We are extremely happy working with the great companies.

    New Ticket Tracking System
    As we continue to refine our internal processes, we worked with our Support staff to design an all new ticket tracking system. This new ticket tracking system has improved all of support capabilities considerably, making it easier to provide the best possible customer service.

    New Calendar Integration
    The new Email & Calendar integration connects your email and calendar to TopBuilder. This means you can sync your Outlook, Google, and iCloud accounts to TopBuilder. This new integration opens the door for all new scheduling capabilities for you and your team.

    Launched Webinar Series
    One of last additions in 2020 was launching our new TopBuilder Webinar Series. This new Webinar Series is designed to provide weekly content to help you maximize your CRM, sales, and marketing programs.
